The pageant begins with rehearsals for the contestants. This year we ordered t-shirts to commemorate the "2000" pageant! This picture shows the contestants, dancers, and directors.

The first judged portion of the competition is the "Interview Competition" which accounts for 30% of the contestant's overall score.

The evening of the pageant includes the other phases of competition, which are swimsuit (15%), talent (40%), and evening gown (15%).

It's pageant night and the contestants, dancers, and Miss First Coast '99 Emily Martin are ready for the opening number. The music was a medley of modeling songs, including "Supermodel", "Freeze Frame", and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun."

The pageant was a success and we were thrilled with all of our contestants and our new titleholders! For Marliss and Candace, it's time to get ready for Miss Florida!
