Sample Index Cards for Swimsuit, Talent, & Evening Wear

You must submit index cards or a typed sheet of paper for the Swimsuit, Talent, and Evening Wear competitions with the introductions as to how you wish to be introduced.

The Swimsuit Competition is so short, you just need to submit your Name, Year in School (Soph., Senior, etc.), and the school you are currently attending. If you are in college, list your major or degree. If you are in high school, name an activity that you are involved in.

Betty Bliss Swimsuit Cont. #1

Betty Bliss is a Senior at Forrest High School, and is the current President of the Forrest High Key Club.

Teri Berry Swimsuit Cont. #2

Teri Berry is a Junior at Jacksonville University where she plans on obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

 The Talent Competition cards introduce your performance by talent (sing, dance, etc.), by name (title of song), by composer or artist. Talent cards can also include your talent background or teachers.

Jane Doe Talent Cont. #3

Jane Doe has been tapping her toes since the age of 7. She has studied dance for 12 years and is an assistant teacher at The Dancer's School of Dance. Tonight, Jane will bring Broadway to life as she tap dances to the well-loved favorite, "42nd Street."

Sarah Smith Talent Cont. #4

Our next contestant loves to use her voice to entertain the elderly at the retirement homes at which she volunteers her time. This evening, Sarah Smith will sing one of her favorite inspirational songs, "Happy Days are Here Again!"

The Evening Wear cards are more serious and should include your educational and career goals. You may announce your parents names. You can list a great accomplishment or award, or mention your platform name.

Lisa Lynn Evening Wear Cont. #5

Our next contestant is Lisa Lynn, Contestant #5. Lisa is a sophomore at Florida State University and plans on graduating with a degree in Nursing. At this time, she does a great deal of volunteer work at the hospital, but she hopes to one day to actually run the hospital. She is the first sophomore to receive FSU's Nursing Student of the Year award.

Tracy Lacy Evening Wear Cont. #6

And now we have contestant #6, Tracy Lacy. Tracy is an advocate of literacy and speaks regularly at various schools about learning to read and staying in school. Her "Don't Drop Out of School, Don't Drop Out of Life" Platform is really getting the message to many local students. She is the proud daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Macy Lacy.
